Kay loves, I mean, absolutely loves to dress up. Dresses and skirts are her thing. She does wear jeans, shorts, or any other type of pants, but it's not her favorite thing in the world. Her tops will be nice, if she wears pants. She usually wears light colors instead of dark because she enjoys them more, and to her they look better on her. However dark colors are worn for base colors, like certain skirts, sometimes dresses. Color doesn't really matter when it comes to her shoes, as long as they match her outfit and they're cute. She also wears jewlery. Nothing too flashy, but necklaces, bracelets, and earrings that go well with her outfit. One thing she always wears is a silver cross necklace that was her grandmothers. If Kaylin is caught wearing sweats or anything not dressy or cute, she is not in a good mood, or she just doesn't feel great. Occasionally she'll wear t shirts as well, but that's rare.

Appearance:

Kaylin stands at an average five feet, six inches. Her body is slender and toned, due to her many years of dancing. Her skin tone is a light peach color and it is seemingly flawless, meaning she has small pores and rarely any acne. Kay's nose is rather small, but it fits her face well. Her eyes are almond-shaped and the color of them is hazel brown. She has dirty blonde hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades and is parted to the left. It is naturally straight but at times she likes to add some curl to it. She wears her hair in many different styles. Sometimes she'll just keep it down or she'll wear it up in a ponytail or a braid. if all the styles were listed, you'd be here forever. To most, she is beautiful and she knows it. She is not vain, but she doesn't think she's anywhere near ugly.

History:

I guess you could say, Kaylin Autumn Reed, was a miracle baby. Philippa Reed was told she would never be able to have children. However, that wasn't exactly true because Kaylin came into the world on June twelfth, nineteen years ago and she was a healthy baby at that. The couple was surprised, but overjoyed when they found out that Philippa was pregnant with the baby and did their best to have a healthy pregnancy. Well, they did what they needed to because she was just fine at birth. The couple were ecstatic for the baby's arrival into the world and from the start, they loved her unconditionally. The couple were wonderful parents and made sure Kaylin received what she needed.

Upon her tenth year of being alive, Kaylin's Grandmother fell ill and their father packed up the family to move to New York City where she resided. After a couple of months of taking care of the old woman, she passed away. Though it took a toll on all of them, Kaylin tried her best to be strong for her parents, especially her dad, since it was his mother. However, she was only a ten year old and didn't understand too much of it herself. When Kaylin turned eleven, things changed for the young girl. Apparently she was a late bloomer, but at that age, she found out she was able to control the earth around her when a flower she had been tending to died and it came back to life at her touch. Scared at the fact that she had some type of weird ability, she kept it to herself. She didn't understand what was going on, but she knew it wasn't natural. Then it hit her. One time, when she was spending a week at her Grandmother's house, she helped tend to her Grandma's plants and the old woman had done something of the like. She had inherited her Grandmother's gift.

Now aware of this ability, Kay continued to practice with it every moment she had a chance. But, she did this without anyone knowing. She was fascinated by it, but no one could ever know, because she feared what might happen to her. Still in New York City after her Grandmother's death, Kay started to realize her passion for music and dance at age thirteen. From a young age she was told she had a wonderful voice, but she never actually practiced with it much, until she moved. Soon, she picked up dance classes and piano and voice lessons. Never once did she complain about going, because she loved it so much. Some of her friends in school were even envious of her talents, once she started getting really good at them. She loved it and it wasn't hard for her to decide after she graduated at eighteen, that that was what she was going to school for. She was accepted into Juilliard and had big plans. Still, her gift had gone unnoticed. However, at age nineteen the poor girl's gift was revealed. See, she had an issue with a girl in one of her dance classes. It wasn't that she didn't try to be friends with the girl. It was the fact that the girl had this attitude about her that screamed 'I am better than anyone'. After weeks of dealing with it, Kay finally burst and unintentionally attacked the girl. Now, she is locked away in a camp for the supernatural and hasn't seen her family in a little over three months.

Why they were convicted:

She unintentionally attacked a girl from her school landing the girl in the hospital in critical condition.

Life in the Camp:

Kaylin tries to make friends with everyone, despite the differences in species. So, it's safe to say that she's made a good amount of friends, or she's on a lot of people's good side. However, she tries to stray from conflict and keep away from those that like to create it. In the few months she has been in camp, she tends to either hang around people that are less threatening or by herself. Whichever is safer. She has also picked up on the gang thing and is starting to fear that some are going to try to pull her into one of theirs soon, even though she's not sure she wants to be affiliated with any of them, just for the fact she not only wants to choose sides, but she avoids anything that can cause issues.

Personality:

Kaylin is a kind soul that is quite soft spoken and quiet. She's not shy or anything. In fact, she is more outgoing than some would expect from her velvet tone, but she prefers to not be loud and obnoxious. She is protective and loyal to those she cares about, and while she doesn't prefer to fight, she'd do her best to keep them safe, at whatever cost. She tends to be calm in most situations, keeping the level head instead of freaking out when it would do no good. Only in serious and more dangerous situations does this trait diminish. Her calm nature also keeps her from quickly exploding on someone, meaning, she doesn't get pissed off easily. The thing is though, if you push her to her boiling point, she has a nasty temper. There is a lot of yelling involved, and in more severe cases, she might get slightly violent, but it is rare.

Kay is also more forgiving than most which is seen in the fact that she isn't hostile to any of the other beings around her. She doesn't automatically forgive though, so don't get the wrong impression. It takes her time and a lot of thought. Her thing though, is you only get a couple chances, and that's it. Kind of like, three strikes and you're out. Fool her once, shame on you. Fool her twice, shame on her. If you get to a third time by some chance, you're screwed. However, people like to think the opposite, so they take advantage of her forgiveness which isn't the smartest thing to do. You might think she doesn't notice or that she's some 'dumb blonde' but quite the contrary. She knows exactly what you're doing and she's intelligent enough to take you off guard about it, and sometimes maybe even find a way to make you pay. That depends on the severity of it all though.
