Appearance:

Though she is sixteen, it's easy for people to mistake Heather for a fifteen or even fourteen year old. She's short and has a gentle complexion, as well as pretty blonde hair, usually kept loose. Her eyes can be a deep blue or a Greyish tinge, depending on the day.

Her body shape is lithe and beautiful. She had been known to be flirted with, but she was so oblivious pretty much everyone gives up on her.

History:

Heather was born to Cindy and Chris Orchid, a wealthy nature loving couple. They lived on a small cottage on the Pacific ocean in California. Her parent's didn't agree with school and they ended up home schooling her. Heather grew up with very little peers and grew up very down-to-earth and mature. Along with her pets and her mother, she was taught how to shape-shift into different animals.

Even though she didn't go to school, Heather loved books. She had tons in her room and she painted inspiring quotes all over the walls of her light blue room. Living by the ocean she became a wonderful swimmer and her favorite thing to do was sit by the water in a long sundress and read a good book. The calm ocean wind tugging at her long hair made her feel so down to earth. She also loved taking trips to the red wood forest and frolicking around meeting new animal friends and smelling the earth.

Living out of the city and away from everyone, her family wasn't much in the war. Most people in her town knew they were supernaturals, but they were so kind and generous-they were loved by all. Cindy, her mother, was a Shapeshifter and skilled veterinarian. Her father, Chris, was an Earth elemental. He had a beautiful greenhouse and all his flowers were always perfect. Heather always wanted to be exactly like them.

Unfortunately, when the war ended, they were very concerned. Now, her mother wasn't allowed to practice her medicine and her father wasn't allowed to sell his plants. They still were very wealthy, so they, along with many wealthy supernaturals, began to fight. The HEROS agency then arrested them, and took Heather into custody, placing her in Camp Sangvene.

When she first came, she was almost killed by a vampire-but she was saved by an older boy named Pete. Pete was an Earth elemental, like her father, and helped her out a lot. He showed her the best places to get food and supplies, as well as which gang was which and which places to avoid. He was going to take her into his own gang, the Earth Circle, but was killed before he could take her there. So she came to the Earth Circle, looking for safety, but with Pete dead she had no friends in the gang. Since then she has been trying to help them out and gain their trust.

Why they were convicted:

Her parents were arrested for fighting against the humans. They didn't have anywhere else to put her.

Heather doesn't want to be in the fight, she doesn't even want to be there. She just wants to keep everything to herself. She finds food in animal form, usually nuts and berries in the trees, and sleeps where she can be safe.

Personality:

Heather is a very shy girl who loves books. She only has a few she was able to find around the camp, but she cherishes them like gold. She can be quite curious at times and sometimes it can lead her into trouble. She won't walk up and speak to you, but she might watch you in an animal form. She loves to learn new things, and since reading isn't much of an option-watching people has become an unhealthy, almost dangerous hobby of hers. After all, curiosity killed the cat. And a cat happens to be one of Heather's favourite shapes.

Heather is also very gentle, kind, and rarely holds grudges. She isn't easily hated, but she's not the kind of person you'd think a lot about. She will help anyone she can, if she believes they will not hurt her. She isn't a talkative type, but is a great listener. This attributes make her a good friend.

Heather is very timid, withdrawing from large groups and preferring to be only around a few people at a time. She tends to run away from her problems, and won't usually fight or defend herself if she can.

If Heather trusts you, she has no problem letting you protect her. She actually likes being protected and having someone guide her. She is in no way a leader, and if she was-would be quite a rotten one at best.
