So, this is just something I've been thinking about for awhile. I've been a person who's had so many favorite songs, songs I'll listen to on repeat for a few days. But what's a song you've had in your life for over ten years and still makes you happy?
One of my favorite songs of all time is "Bad Reputation" by Freedy Johnston (You'll recognize it as one of Amri's theme songs which Goldy made me a lovely format for) I remember being 4 years old and singing along to that song on trips to the beach. I didn't listen to it for a few years and I rediscovered it when my mom put it in the car a few months ago and I realized I was singing along, still knowing all the words. It's really a timeless song for me and I love it.
Does anyone else have a song like that?

I supose that one would be Christopher Tin's three-set piece "Calling All Dawns." I especially love the Movement of Dawn, but Night and Day are also very very good. It goes through all these different cultures and languages with the music and I REALLY reccomend it. The Movement of Day by Christopher Tin I aboslutely ADORE the song "In Christ Alone." It's one of my favorites to sing in church and I like listening to Michael Card's version of it from his album Scandalon.

OoooOOoooooOoOoOoooOOOoooo I have two songs like that, one dedicated to each of my parents. I have one for my dad, but I can't post it. See, I like it because it's a song that's entitled with my name, and my name has a funky spelling so it so it's really special to me :3 Some of my oldest memories is my dad playing in the car when I was four, five years old, and us singing it together. If I ever end up giving out my real name, I'll give you a link :3 For my mom, I've always loved I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Like my dad, some of my oldest memories are me and my mom singing this in the car and dancing in our seats. Both these songs from two people I love very much have contributed greatly to my love of music and singing. Though they're both completely different genres, they both flow through me and make me who I am.
