A young man looking no older then 16, his skin was pale but still had a few streaks of tanned left on the paleness of his skin, it blended in quite well but you could tell the difference, he wore a light black jacket, which the right shoulder slung down on his arm, the wrinkles of the jacket made it look shorter then the actually was, underneath the jacket was a red cotton t-shirt that ended just under his waist, going past his black jacket, to match his his jacket and t-shirt he wore blue jeans that ended at his ankles and lapped over his black shoe's that had a hint of white at the front and on the side of them going up in three white lines, around his neck was a metal dog tag, it was engraved with the word private on it
Damen heard of the cabins from one of the inmates, although he never talks to anyone directly, he gathers his information by overhearing stuff before he goes to sleep during the day, he only went to the cabin because he wanted to get away from all the fighting that was going on, he had heard that it was a safe place, but only for now, he had no idea how long it would actually be safe for, only for now it would have to do, he hid in the darkest place of it, where the sun didn't shine or if anyone had actually gone in there there they wouldn't of been able to find him, considering he was the only vampire in the camp, as far as he knew he was, he wouldn't of been able to be smelt out, only by werewolves, but he had not run into any of them lately or ever for that fact.
Damen had arrived in the cabins late at night, when all the others where asleep he ran off into there, he had been beaten up a few times in the camp by other creatures, he hid there for a while, no one seeming to be able to find him, the werewolves never came in here because they were normally somewhere else, being the only other things that can smell out things, the time was now 2:46am and he has been in the cabin for a few days now the fatal bruising on his face was covering his eye, and left cheek bone, he had made a little bed with some of the carpet and some of the wood that was there , it wasn't every soft of comfy put it would simply have to do, being in a place that did not have kindness in it, it to him it was just a prison and he felt like a bitch in it.
Damen choose to live in the cabins because it was one of the few safe places on the camp, he leaves it every now and then to look for food, being sneaky is what he does best, he learned that if he can sneak up on his fellow inmates he could get a little taste of there blood, them being a creature, gives him to relax about not turning them into a vampire, he was scared of the camp though, he had just been turned a vampire and already put into this hell hole, all he wants to do is to get out of it alive, knowing that the only way out is to escape he will need to become a lot stronger then he is now to get out, but the thought of being captured again after escaping kept running through his head, the unbareable torchur that he would go through.
After Damen had gotten beat a few times in the camp he wanted go home, where it was safe, knowing that it would never happen he set trying to find a safe enough place, he tried the abandoned school but that was already taken by the night walkers, he had heard of a safe place called "the cabins" he thought it was a lie, but he dared not stay another minute to where he was now, he set off trying to find the cabins, after an hour he finally found it, looking around the place to make sure that it was safe and not owned by anything yet, he made a quick note to where everything was, just incase the place was suddenly crawling with other things that were harmful to him, so he could make a quick get away if they tried to hurt him, or even worse, kill him.

Ava was rather content. Hunting was easy tonight, she and her patrol had caught four stray little bits of prey in only a few hours. Ava could feel the fresh blood generating adrenaline all through her body. Everything was a little easier. It was easier to see, to run and jump and climb. She could even smell and hear further than usual. It was times like this that Ava liked to just, explore.
She had split up with her patrol about an hour ago, wanting to have her own little fun. Some people assumed that she had a secret torture room in one of the cabins and that was where she went off to in her spare time. That was of course completely bogus, but she let them think it-as it did make them a little edgy around her and it was a little funny to threaten the little less... obedient of her gang to behave unless they wanted to take a trip.
No, Ava's idea of fun was a little less gory than people thought. People didn't really think of Ava as a real person-someone with interests and hobbies. Sure-her favourite thing to do was hunt down kids and drink their blood-but that wasn't all she was. It was quite insulting to her and it wasn't the first time she had to throw a few knifes at a few insolent people assuming her to be so one-sided-then again those encounters didn't usually prove the point she wanted to get proven.
So, instead of going off to torture innocent victims as her comrades assumed, she went off to practice her abilities under the stars in the moonlight. It was quite beautiful tonight. The moon was nearly full and the stars were bright. Ava sometimes wondered where on earth the camp was actually located. It must be higher in the border, as the snowy winters could get pretty cruel around here, but there were no major cities around. She knew this because at night, the skies were clear with no light pollution at all.
She was in a large stretch of cabins, jumping from flat roof to flat roof in her usual attire-a loose top, powder blue in colour, paired with jeans and boots. Her trusty pistol was at her side as always and she also had her silver knife with a leather blade on hand, latched to her side as always.
She jumped from rooftop to rooftop, hearing a few people inside screaming at the thumping her feet made-she laughed but passed them by. It wasn't wise to pick every ripe fruit if you wanted them fresh everyday. But-she didn't want to send anyone after her, so she made sure to land particularly lightly as to not cause too much panic. After a while, even her vast stamina started to wear out and she stopped at one of the roofs to rest. Panting she laid down on the roof and looked to the sky. It was clear and all the little specks of light. She put her arms to the back of her head and watched them for a moment, drinking in the beauty of the entire sky. Even when she was human she had loved the night, when her father had gone to sleep and she could go to the window and just gaze up there for hours with nothing to do but relax. It was one of her only comforts she had in her dark life back then.
Then she smelled something, a vampire like her-she'd recognize the smell anywhere. She knew it well as she lived with many other vampires in her gang. It was strange though, because she wasn't sure who it was. Any vampire that was any vampire was in her gang. It was the only one that outright... approved of the vampire lifestyle. He must have been new. She'd have to take him in, she was always looking for more comrades.
She raised an eyebrow and hopped down to the window-sitting on the sill and looking in to see a young man. Probably about 16, though he could have gotten older since he changed. He had a black jacket on and his eyes were a pretty blue. She smiled with a bit of a twinkle in her eye, "Hello, there, little vampire." she said sweetly. "What are you doing in here on such a beautiful night."

Damen was laying on the wooden table that was in the room, he had moved to a room that had more lighting to were he slept, that was shielded away from any form of sun light, his eyes were red with hunger, he had to feed, but he couldn't kill another person, he just couldn't the guilt would eat him alive. As he laid on the table he looked around sighing to himself, he seemed to be in a room that was used for something, he couldn't tell what it was used for, probably just a place to hide, as he laid there on the table his mind was somewhere else, he couldn't stop thinking of the nurse he killed how the people reacted to him when they saw that he was a demon, a creature of the night, he could smell the blood from the nurse that night, the thought of it making him hungry.
It was all so wrong, he used to live in a world were day was day and night was night, but it had switched, night was now his day time, and day time was his night, he started to faint from hunger he needed to eat, and it had to be now, his scanned the room, he came across a rodent, a small rat sitting in the corner, he silently walked up to it, keeping quite he quickly grabbed it, it was struggling in his hand, without hesitation he quickly sunk his fangs into it, the blood dripping on the floor as most of it was heading into his mouth, the taste of sweet sweet blood, he had long craved this taste, no matter who or what it came from, it was all the same, he had dropped the rat onto the ground as he wiped the blood off his lip.
as he walked back over to the table he got a smell of something, something quite familiar, it smelled like... vampire, he was sure that he had been the only here, but I guess he was wrong, luckily it was just a vampire, something he could probably co-operate with, his eyes were following the smell, this enhanced hearing and smelling came in handy at times, he looked to the windowsill that you had landed on, was he scared, of course he was, he just didn't show it.
He didn't look to you as you had landed on the windowsill, he turned his gaze away from you, your soft voice made a small echo in the room, he sighed thinking for a moment, her words, he didn't believe them, he turned his head to you "how the night be beautiful? I mean, it's a curse, we live off blood and walk around the night, but the day is our enemy" being a loner helped a bit when it came to thinking, it gave him more alone time to think about stuff, sure he was only a vampire for a few months now, be he was under standing quite a bit about, after all he had seen the movies about, it's not like he was just finding out about them, besides from the fact they are real.
He shook his head and denied it all, the night wasn't beautiful, not to him, he looked to you his eyes a mixture between blue and red "what do you find beautiful about the night?" he asked her in a soft tone, he didn't feel the need to be scared around her, but that's why he was, a vampire coming out of no where and being nice, ha, there was no such thing, she wanted something, he just didn't know what,
((if you don't know already when you see " " it means he is speaking most of the time, I can make it out better if that is hard to understand))

Yes. Definitely a new vampire. She could understand a little how perhaps new vampires might initially see the change as a curse. Though Ava never had. After eighteen years of helplessness she could finally protect herself-take charge of not only her life, but the pathetic lives of others. Ava's second life was brighter and better than anything she could have ever had as a human, so she had no trouble taking her new powers with great enthusiasm and glee. He, though, obviously didn't care at all for his new powers. Probably one of those do-gooders in real life. Having to live of the blood of others was a 'sin' and should be considered evil. It was the nature of a vampire, and unless he wanted to stake himself in the heart-he'd just have to get over it.
The night. The night was beautiful, she shrugged, and looked out to the sky once more. "What do I find beautiful about the night?" she asked. She was surprised he still didn't like the night. The night was a beautiful thing, people always related it to death-darkness and the cold. But Ava related it to life, when the creatures of the night came out to hunt and play and when the world began to recover from the hot sun and rest. Without night there would be no life at all. Perhaps maybe, if he could see the beauty of the night he might be able to accept his powers. It was her duty as a fellow vamp and a night walker to turn him onto his destiny of darkness and bloodshed, wasn't it? "Why don't I come out and show you?" she asked, pushing herself off the window sill and onto the roof of the cabin once more.
She sat on the edge of the cabin roof so her legs dangled off the side. She pointed up to the moon, gazing at the sky now. "That's what I find beautiful. My sun is the moon and my day is the night. It is the destiny of vampires to walk in the shadows of the stars and the mystery of the sun's absence. It is the very essence of the night and it's mysteries that it brings and holds onto your soul that has inspired the artists of the centuries. Poets, painters, writers..." she gave a sigh, "Really, can you really call this a curse?"

He looked to her as she made her speech about the night, how could someone like her find the beauties of the night, the only beautiful thing about the night to him was the soft breeze, and the lack of noise that roamed the night sky he sighed as she made her way to the roof, he got off the table and walked to the window sill climbing on it and jumping up to the roof and pulling himself up as he turned to face the moon.
he listened to her sitting beside her as he looked to her, his eyes red with hunger still, he began to spoke "you know what, the night is like love, fun, exciting, but it will end" he always found ways to make the moment bad "and the only thing I like about the night is when my asshole of a father would be asleep and wouldn't beat me up when he was drunk" he looked to you as he stood up on the roof.
he was getting all sorts of blood flows, it was driving him crazy, he needed to feed and it had to be now, he began to run taking off at great speed and jumping off the roof, he landed on one of the people that was roaming the place alone, he bit into his neck draining his blood as he was staying on him the man trying to get him off.

Ava disagreed, shaking her head she said coldly "The night is nothing like love. The night may go but it always returns, again and again. Even after we die and are laid to rest, it comes back every day." Ava had dark feelings about love. She spoke of love the same way 'good' people talked about hate and betrayal. To her, love an illusion. You couldn't smell it, touch it or even tell it from other emotions such as lust or desire. It was a useless emotion that clouded your thoughts and better judgement. If Ava could accomplish it, she'd abolish love from the entire world.
Then again, it wasn't as if Ava'd had many good experiences with love. Her first love betrayed her the first chance he got, after she had literally killed herself to be with him, and her father had never loved her at all. Or if he did, he had a pretty crappy way of showing it. Night had brought her comfort, safety and serenity. Love had brought her bruises, pain and hurt. How could anyone think that Ava'd ever see a connection between the two words?
His words, they made her freeze, turning to him with wide eyes. He couldn't be a telepath, he was a vampire! There was no way. If he hadn't been reading her mind, then... He was... What? The simple sentence had literally frozen the usually alert and aware Ava stiff. She barely even noticed as he ran off the roof. For a few heartbeats she just looked at the empty space he had once sat, then ran after him-following him easily by scent. He was getting more and more curious, more and more interesting. The more she learned about him, the more she needed to know about him.
She stopped when he found him drinking off a mortal, probably an elemental or something by the scent. No match for the new vampire's strength. She grabbed him by the back of his jacket and pulled him off the elemental, just enough to put her hands on the mortal's head and snapping their neck like a toothpick, killing him instantly and holding his body up with one hand. "It's easier when they're dead." she said softly, holding the guy towards the new vampire like it was a something normal, like keys or some money.
