A young man looking no older then 16, his skin was pale but still had a few streaks of tanned left on the paleness of his skin, it blended in quite well but you could tell the difference, he wore a light black jacket, which the right shoulder slung down on his arm, the wrinkles of the jacket made it look shorter then the actually was, underneath the jacket was a red cotton t-shirt that ended just under his waist, going past his black jacket, to match his his jacket and t-shirt he wore blue jeans that ended at his ankles and lapped over his black shoe's that had a hint of white at the front and on the side of them going up in three white lines, around his neck was a metal dog tag, it was engraved with the word private on it
Damen heard of the cabins from one of the inmates, although he never talks to anyone directly, he gathers his information by overhearing stuff before he goes to sleep during the day, he only went to the cabin because he wanted to get away from all the fighting that was going on, he had heard that it was a safe place, but only for now, he had no idea how long it would actually be safe for, only for now it would have to do, he hid in the darkest place of it, where the sun didn't shine or if anyone had actually gone in there there they wouldn't of been able to find him, considering he was the only vampire in the camp, as far as he knew he was, he wouldn't of been able to be smelt out, only by werewolves, but he had not run into any of them lately or ever for that fact.
Damen had arrived in the cabins late at night, when all the others where asleep he ran off into there, he had been beaten up a few times in the camp by other creatures, he hid there for a while, no one seeming to be able to find him, the werewolves never came in here because they were normally somewhere else, being the only other things that can smell out things, the time was now 2:46am and he has been in the cabin for a few days now the fatal bruising on his face was covering his eye, and left cheek bone, he had made a little bed with some of the carpet and some of the wood that was there , it wasn't every soft of comfy put it would simply have to do, being in a place that did not have kindness in it, it to him it was just a prison and he felt like a bitch in it.
Damen choose to live in the cabins because it was one of the few safe places on the camp, he leaves it every now and then to look for food, being sneaky is what he does best, he learned that if he can sneak up on his fellow inmates he could get a little taste of there blood, them being a creature, gives him to relax about not turning them into a vampire, he was scared of the camp though, he had just been turned a vampire and already put into this hell hole, all he wants to do is to get out of it alive, knowing that the only way out is to escape he will need to become a lot stronger then he is now to get out, but the thought of being captured again after escaping kept running through his head, the unbareable torchur that he would go through.
After Damen had gotten beat a few times in the camp he wanted go home, where it was safe, knowing that it would never happen he set trying to find a safe enough place, he tried the abandoned school but that was already taken by the night walkers, he had heard of a safe place called "the cabins" he thought it was a lie, but he dared not stay another minute to where he was now, he set off trying to find the cabins, after an hour he finally found it, looking around the place to make sure that it was safe and not owned by anything yet, he made a quick note to where everything was, just incase the place was suddenly crawling with other things that were harmful to him, so he could make a quick get away if they tried to hurt him, or even worse, kill him.

Roxi needed this. To get away from the pack for while anyway. They were bored and had taken to play fighting, something Roxi did not want to do. She didn't feel like wandering the forest, the only place she hadn't quite explored being the the grove. But the grove belong to the Earth Circle and she'd be damned if she went around them. For some reason she just could not stand them. They got on her nerves. Maybe it was because they were vegans and vegetarians. Maybe it was because of how they over emphasized the whole earth and nature thing. All Roxi knew was that she didn't like them.
Most would be asleep at 2:50 a.m. so no one would see her and wonder why she was walking around in the dark. Her walking had brought her to the cabins this morning. A broken safe haven for those who were without a gang. Roxi stopped and pulled at the hem of her rather short dress, then scented the air around her. A sweet human scent greeted her and roused her curiosity.
The scent had the all to familiar sweet smell of a vampire, but it had that smell unique to humans as well. She tensed and looked around. The last thing she needed was a run in with a Night Walker. The strange scent was coming from the cabins. Some poor inmate was probably becoming someone's drink already.
Roxi dropped to the ground in a crouch. Her body then began to reshape itself. Muscles quickly ripping and giving off small bursts of pain that could be ignored. Her whole body melted on the inside in a rush of heat and before she knew it her eyes were seeing in gray scale. She was standing on all fours and her face had grew out into a muzzle that belonged to a pure black wolf. Roxi shook herself off and followed the scent.
The dual scent lead her to an empty cabin. Or it seemed empty. Her eyes picked up a faint figure in the corner. She stepped into the cabin's interior carefully. A low growl came from her muzzle, but it was one of uncertainty not of threat. Roxi moved in a little deeper and tilted her black furry head to the side. This vampire, she was sure of it, smelled new. He wasn't apart of the Night Walkers thank goodness. Roxi wagged her tail and gave a low whine.

Damen was laying on the wooden table he had found in the empty cabin, he was confused that was for sure, the night had become his day time, and the day time had become his night, oh how he wished it could go back to normal, being able to eat freshly baked goods again, being able to drink the tasty liquids, but blood, the thick liquid, had become both his food and drink, as he laid there on the table the the thought of that nurse in the hospital, it all came screaming back to him, the looks he got, the screams he heard, the cry of the women when he and bit into her neck and drained her of her life, but sure, this was how a vampire lived now, it was normal for them, he licked his lips, being reminded of the taste of the blood, it was all wrong though, no matter how right it felt, no matter how good it felt, it was all wrong.
[flash back] Damen had woken up in the hospital, the sound of the IV machine saying that he was dead "it must be broken" he thought to himself, he sat up on the bed looking around the room as he let out a small sigh, the only person he could see was a nurse pretending to sing and dance to a song, he couldn't understand why she had to scream it though, people were trying to sleep, he was breathing through his nose untill the smell of sealed blood hit his nose, his eyes turned red as he slowly began to crawl out of the bed not making a sudden sound, he walked up to her and quickly grabbed her biting into her neck and draining her of her life he looked in shock at the body after he had dropped it, he heard the scream of another nurse, he looked around as the nurse tried to hit him away shouting "DEMON DEMON DEMON DEMON" he jumped out of the window and landing on the ground [flash back]
he snapped out of the flash back smelling the air, a wolf, no, a werewolf had entered the cabins, he was fucked, he was sure of it, he quickly jumped of the table and ran to the corner of where a large box was, jumping into it he closed the top of it, sure it was a shit hiding place, but where could he go, he wasn't in a room where there was windows, the only down side to being a vampire, the sun was your worst enemy, he tried to stay as quite as he could baring his fangs in case the werewolf tried to attack him, his fists were ready to knock the mutt back and hopefully make her stagger a bit.
his heart beat was pounding hard, he was planning on what he was going to do before anything had even begun, was he over reacting, or was he not reacting enough, just 6 months ago he had thought these creatures were just myths, yes he knew how to kill a werewolf, only with a silver bullet though and the only thing silver he had was the dog tag around his neck, not being much help in the bullet department.

Common sense told her not to be so easy toward strangers, vampires especially, but Roxi was different from a lot of traditional werewolves. She actually liked vampires. Perhaps because while growing up she had never really known how to quite act like a werewolf. Roxi had went through her life not knowing who she was until her early teens. Luckily for her she had the pleasure to meet fellow werewolves that gladly took her in. From them she learned of who she was, or at least part of who she was. They taught her so much about the werewolf lifestyle. And yes she was taught how vampires were the enemy due to their venom being dangerous to her kind. But Roxi believed that if they could be socialize well with each other werewolves and vampires could get along. The two already had something in common, they lived in the human world keeping to themselves. However there were the traditional ones of both groups that disliked the idea of cooperation between the two races.
Roxi stumbled back as the boy bolted off the table he was on. She followed him as he jumped into a large box. She whined in confusion. What had she done? Why was this vampire kid so skittish? He was definitely not part of the Night Walkers. Roxi slowly moved toward the box and sniffed it curiously. She scratched at the box then growled in frustration. Why was this guy being so wimpy? She was not intending to be a threat. What did she have to do roll over on her back or beg for a treat?Realizing that this boy was going to need to be talked to she slipped out of her wolf form. Her boy returning to a human looking girl.
She moved away from the box and went to sit on the table the boy was laying on, her boots thumping the wooden cabin floor on her way. Looking at the box she sighed. " I'm not going to hurt you. If I were I would've jumped at you already? " Roxi let her legs dangle over the table's edge. The guy did not seem to be listening, but he was scared. " I'll just wait? " she said to no one in particular and tugged at her dress hem again.
Though she was here for a year already Roxi understood. In this place it was frightening at first. Everyone was fending for themselves in some way. Loners huddled around and the gangs occupied their own territories. If you didn't belong it was a hassle. You had no one to watch your back and had to look over your shoulder every now and then. Roxi gathered her jacket around her as if it would offer the best protection against the camp dangers.

Damen stayed in the box for a minute, hearing your foot prints thudding against the floor, his heart beat speeding up as you got closer, he heard your soft voice telling him that you didn't mean harm, he didn't thrust this stranger and he had every right not to thrust a werewolf, they were rivals and big ones too, he heard you walking over to the table that he laid on just a minute ago, he slowly opend the box as he peered his head above the box looking around seeing you in your human form his eyes a blood red from being hungry his tummy starting to crumble, he needed to feed, and it had to be soon or else he would die, he stood up and looked at you he fixed himself up, he pulled his jacket up on to his shoulder as he looked over to you climbing out of the box and looking over to you
he gulped as he walked over to you slowly but standing a good distance away from you though, he looked at your dress tilting his head not seeing one like it before, but just shook it off as he looked around nervously before looking at you "I-I'm Damen, I was hiding in here because I wanted to get away from all the horrible things happening in this camp" in the right lighting you could see the purple circle surrounding his eye ball and pupil "this camp his hell, for everyone in it" he walked over to the table sitting on it with you pulling his legs up to his chest and wrapping his leg around them "I was only turned into a vampire 7 months ago, and I've been in this camp for a while now, I haven't feed ever since I came here"
He sighed looking around, the windowless room was dark that was for sure, the only thing that lit was a few of the dim lights that were barely working, his enhanced hearing picking up a few of the noises that were coming from outside, the violence, the shootings, the stabbings, all he cared about was the amount of blood out there, his eyes went darker as he fell to the floor out in hunger "c-can you protect me, I can smell the blood out there, it's driving me crazy" he bolted out of the room bashing the chairs and tables out of the way and running outside leaping on one of the males and biting into his neck and draining the blood from him hitting the others away from him, his strenth was incredible, he let on as this pussy that couldn't fight.
he had finished ripping apart the creatures causing him to go mad with his blood lust as he began to lick it off the floor and the bodies as he stood up and looked to licking his lips of the blood that consisted on his lips "that tasted amazing, how can something so vial taste so good" his clothes were now covered in blood as he walked back over to "s-sorry you had to see me go crazy"

Roxi waited for the timid vampire to emerge from his box. She leaned her head back and moved her neck from side to side. Her eyes inspected the invisible dust that began to settle on the table. She then willed a slight layer of frost to cover the edge of the table, just for fun. Roxi rarely used her ice powers to prevent her enemies knowing too much about her. That and she was secretly afraid she might get kicked out of The Pack. Everyone had their secret and Roxi's was her being a hybrid and until someone confronted her on that fact she'd keep it that way.
The lid of the box opened and Roxi watched as the boy's crimson eyes peeked out. They were deep with thirst and Roxi tilted her head to the side. If he tried anything she'd give him something painful. Staring at him as he walked over towards her Roxi began to feel a little uneasy. Maybe because he was thirsty and a vampire who was thirsty was dangerous. Or maybe it was just his eyes. Roxi stayed on the table as he began introducing himself and how he was frightened, being a new inmate in all. She nodded her head in understanding and then brushed a stray strand of hair back. However Roxi frowned when Damen informed her he had not fed since he came here. The hybrid girl frowned because of the stupidity of his move to not fed.
As he went on she noticed occasional bruises. No surprise there. But what he did next startled Roxi, it was so sudden and without warning. He flew out of the cabin, apparently his hunger had over taken him. Roxi moved to the doorway and watched as he mercilessly devoured some poor group of boys. A sharp feeling of self preservation rose up inside of her. When Damen walked toward her Roxi backed up into the cabin. She instinctively shifted into her wolf form and backed up near the table, snarling in defense. A strong call inside of her told her rip Damen's throat out.
Roxi snapped at him, flashing her white fangs. Werewolf instinct was overriding human rationale. No longer did she see this vampire as a possible new friend. The wolf in her saw the enemy, the one she was born to kill more then anything. Roxi flattened her ears, her black fur rising, then she crouched.
