Fashion Style:

Hanako likes to wear short skirts and sleeveless shirts. Her favorite color combinations are red and pink or blue and white. Her shoes are highly durable, black, knee-high combat boots which lace up the side. In the colder seasons she wears a knee-length dark blue trench coat.

Appearance:

Hanako is, in many respects, a very pretty girl. Her skin is fair but not pale and her lips a light shade of pink. She is slender and small but quite strong and flexible despite her looks. What stand out the most about her appearance are her bright sea blue eyes and her long brilliant pink hair. Her hair reaches down about twelve inches past her shoulders and begins curling just past her ears. Normally she keeps it tied back into a pony tail or to either side with two. Her stature is always confident and her emotions clear not only in her hair but also her face.

History:

Hanako was born into the only remaining line of Hana (flower) Shizen Hogo. She was the younger of two daughters and her parents spent each and every day teaching them how to use their powers for the protection of life, be it plant, animal, or sentient being. Hanako was always close to her older sister Sayuri and they were scarcely ever seen apart from one another. One day the two of them ventured too close to the human paths and were caught by the hunters of their kind. Despite their protests, the humans were more inclined to believe other humans than Hogo-sha and thus the self-inflicted wounds of the hunters gave a convincing story of the dangers of letting Hanako and Sayuri loose. The two tried to stay apart from the gangs but found that in Sangvene, to be independent meant not only being seen as a target but also less resources for living. The two ended up joining the Rebellion, hoping that someday they could escape and return to their people, their home. After about eight months Sayuri was caught as a member of the Rebellion and Hanako has not seen her since.

Why they were convicted:

She and her sister Sayuri were caught by the Hunters of the Hogo-sha who turned them into the camp for a reward, claiming they were dangerous creatures which could not be trusted. To make the story more convincing, two of them had purposefully wounded themselves and claimed that the two girls were the cause. Despite Hanako only being twelve at the time, like the rest of her race she looked older and so both she and her sister were taken into Camp Sangvene.

Life in the Camp:

Hanako is a member of the Rebellion and is fiercely loyal to her fellow members. She is always looking out for those members in need and won't hesitate to teach a man to respect them if he speaks poorly of her gang. Most people know not to get on her bad side.

Personality:

Hanako is a stubborn girl who does not like to be crossed. She will follow orders only from Tony Price others who she has respect for. Intimidation is very rarely effective on her and she is not afraid to take someone up on a challenge or prove who's stronger. Despite her occasional short-temper, she is completely trusting and loyal when it comes to the members of her gang. She would protect each and every one of them with her life. She holds true to her morals and values, never hesitating to defend them at her own expense.
