He normally wears long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, thick coats, and jackets. (Not all at the same time, but in some combination). Since he's forever stealing things (and it's good for cold weather), he usual wears a pair of gloves as well. He doesn't like hats, and almost never wears them unless the weather absolutely demands it. He likes his shoes to be slightly oversized and comfortable. Since he's a pipsqueak, it's hard for him to find clothes that fit well, so he's forever wearing things that are a couple sizes too big.Appearance:
Usually, on first impression, Gavriel seems like a pretty normal, pipsqueak boy with a thick Russian accent, on closer look, one can notice the mischievous glint in his dark brown eyes. He's small, wiry, and a little bit pale. His too-large ears stick out under a haystack of mussed, blonde hair. He's never found clean, if he can help it, and he normally has several smudges of dirt and dust on his face, hands, and clothes.History:
Gavriel grew up in the privileged house of Yeltsin, in Moscow, Russia. He's an energetic boy, and never enjoyed the private tutors his father insisted on getting him. His mother was senile, and would often go into fits at the slightest provocation, shifting into various, dangerous animals and attacking staff and family members. During the chaos that ensued in moments like that, Gavriel would slip out, sometimes for days on end, and disappear to roam the streets of Moscow. He enjoyed pick-pocketing and breaking into places, and his crimes escalated until he was able to steal quite valuable things and not get caught. His shifting ability allowed him to get in and out places easily without being noticed, and his father never questioned all of the extra money his son turned up with. He was too busy keeping his insane wife under wraps. Why they were convicted:
Six months ago, Gavriel's father were convicted of harboring 'dangerous supernaturals' by the Russian government when his mother's insanity and fits of violence were finally reported. She was labeled a menace to society, and his family would forever be called 'negligent'. The Russian government placed Gavriel's mother in a ward specifically designed for such people, and Gavriel, being a shifter, was taken from his father and put in Sangvene because his family was deemed unfit to raise a supernatural.Years in the Camp: 1> year
Life in the Camp:
One word. Mischief. Gavriel is never one to go up against other inmates, but the guards, on the other hand, are a completely different matter. He often shifts into his tabby-kitten form and sneaks into the guard apartments, helping himself to the supplies there and playing pranks on the guards. So far, he hasn't been caught... but, that may change. He usually hangs out with his cousin, Eduard, but he likes going off and making mischief by himself.Personality:
Gavriel is a trouble-maker, that's what he likes to do, and it's what he does best. He's never really known anything else because the only two things to do in his magnificent home in Moscow were either study, or play pranks. He chose to play pranks. He's used to running from his problems and hiding beneath humor and mischief, and therefore has been able to put on such a face that almost nobody really knows what he's actually like. He doesn't talk about his family. He was never happy at home. When he's angry, he's quiet and tends to sulk. When he's sad, he's quiet, and tends to sulk. The only time he doesn't sulk is when he's doing what he likes to do best: making mischief. Even though he never sat still enough to get a proper education, He is, however, very clever and intelligent. He can assess a situation quickly, read people well, and is good at solving puzzles.Likes:
