White Fur...[Ava]

There wasn't a sound from Ava's office, as Candra opened the door her dog form brushing past the door, sniffing as she went. Ava's smell was strong since it is her room, but there was the smell of two other male vampires also in the room, with at least one of them giving off a scent that made her snort her black wet nose the fluffy white dog kicked the door shut behind her with her hind legs.

Her tail wagging back and forth, at the thought of being home if only for a little while. Claws lightly scratched the floor as she stretched like a cat, her tongue lolling out of her mouth in her yawn. Candra knew Ava was out hunting, so with the thought of a small nap in mind, she trotted over to her pillow.

Candra rolled on the pillow, here in this office and with Loki were the only places she could relax. Curling until she was nothing more then a white ball on the dark pillow beneath her, she closed her eyes. Ears alert listening for Ava but she did not open her eyes.

Keir, one of Ava's members had spotted her coming from the area of the alliance, luckily she was coming back in her dog form, when he spotted her and told her to go home. She wanted to growl at him for how he told her that, but she just put out a fake happy bark and took off tail wagging. 'Males' she thought with a huff of a laugh, she wondered why Ava wanted her, but decided she would wait. For Candra didn't mind being Ava's confidant besides she was able to give Ava someone to cuddle and talk too when she wanted it and when she was available from her job.

Ava was her favorite after all.

There was a click to the door, and Candra snapped her eyes open and barked out a sound from her sleeping spot, again her tongue was lolling from her mouth as she panted, her fluffy tail wagging from her curled position, waiting for who ever was coming in, to well come in and greet her, since she has been with the Alliance for over a week and a half.

[AVA LYNCH]

Ava returned from her hunting fairly early, it hadn't taken her long to find a good food source. After having a little too much fun with her food she headed home quietly, sneaking in through a loose classroom window and back into her office. She was glad to have not run into Jeremy yet. She heard a bark and she gave a faint smile, glad to hear Candra had returned and that Keir had held up his end of the bargain by telling her in the first place.

She walked into the room and closed the door quietly behind her. She walked back to her couch and took off her jacket, hanging back on her hook she had taken it from earlier. She sat beside Candra's pillow on the couch and rubbed her on her head. "Good to see you, Candra." she said, her voice a little hoarse.

Candra nuzzled Ava's chin, a quiet purr like growl vibrating from her throat. Her ears touched her head as she rubbed into Ava's hand. She gave a small sound and then stretched from her ball to lay her front legs across Ava's legs. Her eyes giving a little red glow before dimming to just a tinge.

Her ears popped up and her tail stopped wagging to relax and she tilted her head, waiting in quiet to see what Ava wished her to do. Stay like this or change. Although her ears were up and she was attentive she wasn't looking at Ava, so that Ava didn't have the added pressure of her Youkai eyes watching.

Ava stretched a little in her spot, running her hand softly against the silver fur of the dog. Though it was not a value she held in herself, loyalty was something Ava appreciated and it was also a valuable trait to have in any follower, especially one as powerful as Candra. After a few moments Ava coughed a little to clear her throat and she said quietly, "I didn't call you here for a simple social visit; we do have some business to discuss." her voice was still slightly shaking, not quite her normal confident tone at the moment.

Candra flicked her ears forward before she slipped off her lap and the couch. Wind picked up as her dog form disappeared and her youkai form stood before her, waist length silver hair rested on her back and stopped slowing around her.

Pale skin with strips of blue glittered in the dim light before she took a seat on a chair across from Ava. Her ice blue eyes looked at Ava with some concern, however her face was relatively blank of any other emotion, it wasn't really her personality made her that way but her breed of Youkai that did.

Candra moved and put the usually unused coffee pot and put some on for herself. As she waited for a cup for herself she turned to look at Ava, "You'll never guess what I saw at the Cabins on my way over." Candra said to Ava, speaking first to get Ava to focus on her visit and off what ever had happened earlier that night.

Ava was about to ask for her to make a glass, before she remembered that she was a vampire. Dammit, she was feeling almost... human again. She couldn't remember the last time she had the urge to consume food since she came to Sangvene. It was stupid Jeremy, the very entity of her past that once again walked with her. It made her feel helpless again, like that poor, pitiful young woman who could barely stand without the damn support of a man in her life. Even if that man did take pleasure in taking out his anger on her. Fuck, now she was thinking of her stupid father. Her mind seemed to seethe with unwanted memories and she tasted blood coming from the inside of her lip from biting it too hard. She shook her head violently to clear her thoughts and let her lip heal.

She realized that Candra had spoken and she blinked, what was that she said? she thought. It took her a moment to think back and nod simply, "Oh yeah? What did you see? Antony La'monze making out with Alexis White?" she gave a light laugh to try and sooth her own nerves and she turned to Candra in confusion.

Candra would have made a face, the animal youkai seeing through her easily only because of her experience and age. And it may have also been her canine instincts that told her that what ever it was that bugged Ava it made her mad but distracted at the same time. Candra pulled her cup out of it's hiding place and put coffee in it before taking a sip with a small hum that made her throat vibrate.

"It seems that you will have less vampires once more.." Candra paused and looked at her once more, "I spotted an injured Archilles, a female to be exact." She let a soft smile come to her thin lips before she moved closer to Ava. "Now, Ava before we get to information from my job, what has you so upset?" Candra was not one to speak in riddles and nor was she afraid to say what others wouldn't. Her species making her speak with logic and nor matter how touchy the subject was her species never played the emotions nor made their questions subtle.

Candra always could see right through her when she was upset, and there were few people she could say that about besides Jeremy. That fact, of course, didn't stop her from attempting to hide her emotions from everyone and anyone, including those individuals. It was Ava's way to hide her emotions from the world, even herself.

She nodded about the Archilles, but didn't pay too much heed. In a place and time like this, it was possible that she was already dead. But that matter was not as pressing as the ones that were already pressing against her skull. She shrugged when Candra asked about the cause of her distress, "A new inmate has arrived, a vampire by the name of Jeremy Banks. We have..." she paused, thinking of an accurate term, "...history together. He'll be spending much time around here and I need everyone to be aware of his presence."

Candra nodded then her blue eyes glimmered, "Do you want me to bite him?" She asked in a smooth tone, only Ava could tell she was making a joke for her sake. Her smile left her lips as she finished her coffee, setting the cup aside she flickered her fingers and stood properly. Candra looked away even though she could still smell Ava's emotions about her, giving Ava a break from her reading eyes.

Running a hand through her hair, she spoke. "The leader of the alliance hasn't planned anything as of yet, she is quiet. However the lower members have been speaking a lot more with the guards lately. Keeping up with all of them have been a challenge." She shrugged as if she didn't just say that she was having some small issues. Not that Ava had to worry for she always fixed them by her self.

Candra rolled her shoulders, "They took a retail of their weapon stocks not to long ago, I know a few of the places where they have hidden some of their stock." She finished, this time looking back at Ava. She must have killed one of the lower members to get her information but as usual she never looked bothered by killing anyone or anything.

Ava chuckled, giving a slight shrug at the thought. "As entertaining as that would be, It would be dangerous to aggravate him. The only reason he's still around is right now it'd be more difficult to try and get rid of him than it is to simply accommodate and put up with him." she knew her words were meant as a joke, but she didn't want to make Jeremy think that he had to remove her from her life here to complete his alleged claim on her. She also knew it would be unwise to go in hand-to-hand combat with him, it would be humiliating to her. Jeremy knew all her tricks, and had trained her himself. Not that he'd hurt her, she didn't believe he'd try and hurt her as much as she didn't have love for him any more, he took care of things he considered to be his objects. But still, he could easy make her look like an idiot in combat and much of the fear and respect she had generated through her campaign as leader of her gang would drain out like popping a water balloon. Ava realized she had trialled off once more and snapped back into reality, deciding to focus on Candra's words now.

"Right! Right perfect, good work Candra." she smiled and went into her desk and pulled out a large sheet of paper and set it on her desk with the engraving of the camp map etched into it. She set down the sheet and grabbed a black crayon and quickly made a rough rubbing of the map. This was a common way of working she had developed to keep track of locations. This way, the map etching could be kept in decent shape and she could carry around the locations she needed. Ava then took out a red crayon (feeling silly to have to use crayons of course; but liquid based writing utensils didn't work over crayon and pencil would be difficult to see) and asked, "All right, where are these stashes?"

And of course; Ava never cared for the loss of lives, especially when it was out of her gang. In her opinion, if you couldn't find the means to live, you didn't deserve to. If you can't handle what life throws at you? Die. Simple as that.

Candra shifted and looked over the etching, she lifted a clawed finger and started pointing to some of the stashes around the camps. Most of the stashes were by the wall of the main gates. "Most of them are around the main gates, i had fun sniffing them out and munching down on a few guards. Not too many though, nothing to suspicious and some of them smelled...wrong." The youkai princess shuddered slightly, she might like human flesh but the humans natural smell also what attracted her hunger.

Which not every human smelled good. "I have already moved some to your stashes." Candra paused, "that male Keir, i was tempted to bite him before coming here."

Ava nodded at her information and gave a chuckle at her comment about Keir. "Really? You didn't, I hope." she glanced to Candra with a sparkle in her eye, "He may not be the most valuable member, but it'd be a shame to loose him. What'd he do?" she looked back down to the map and thought idly to herself to the early stages of planning out some battle strategies to obtain the stashes for her own gang. She really wanted some more fire-power. Maybe even some grenades. Did the warden give out grenades? Ava wasn't sure.

Candra was glad she was more herself now and she grinned, "Candra, Candra come here girl." She said mimiking Keir, she made a small low whistle sound. "And when I decided to appear infront of him, as he kept calling for me, he did the good girl, your mommy wants you to go home now." Candra tried not making a face during the last bit, but the grimance appeared for a little while.

"The last time someone did that to me, i was was only a 150." Candra would have pouted but inuyoukai didn't pout they got even. But since she couldn't, her lips were in a pouty frown.

Ava laughed, and not a light, I-am-totally-in-control laugh but a genuine, smiling laugh. She couldn't remember the last time she had given a genuine laugh. She shrugged that thought away though and gave a quick stretch and yawn. "Do you want me to bite him? Typically vampires bite humans but I can make an exception if you like." she was joking of course, but she made a mental note to talk to Keir about pissing off powerful people. She sat on the edge of her desk now, still facing Candra as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Candra raised a brow in her direction before shaking her head at Ava's joke. Her chest rumbled in her soft feminine chuckle. "Ava, if your not careful, you'll kill me with laughter." Candra muttered, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.

Candra moved to lean beside Ava on the disk, Candra nudged her with her elbow gently, before standing to grab another cup of coffee. "I met a another Youkai last night." Candra stated with a shrug and maybe a little bit of a blush on the pale skin of her cheeks.
