Nancy's favorite colours are blue, green, and brown. She likes to wear knee-length skirts but will wear dark blue jeans from time to time. Her clothing choices are fairly modest. You won't see her showing any cleavage and her policy with skirts is if you can't bend over it, it's too short. Generally she keeps her hair down but on the hotter days of summer she will pull it up into a high pony tail.

Appearance:

Nancy is a fair-skinned pretty girl with a delicate body. Though she has enough strength to carry boxes and climb trees, in a fight she will almost always lose. Her hair is naturally wavy and dark brown, but she currently has it dyed sandy blonde and straightens it almost every morning. The faerie part of her gave her her wings which are transparent dragonfly wings with an opalescent tint.

History:

Nancy was born as the daughter of a faerie and a human. She was born with wings but none of the magical abilities her mother had. Growing up she lived her life as a human, always hiding her wings. When she was eleven, she considered having her wings removed through surgery but her mother's protests convinced her to keep them. She was always the social type, having many friends at school, but when her parents started fighting she slowly became more secluded. She pretended nothing was wrong, but her friends could see that was not true. When her mother and father decided to divorce, there was no argument over who got custody. Her mother did not want to be a part of their family anymore, that included not wanting to be a mother to Nancy. Nancy moved away with her father to live with him at his new workplace: Sangvene.

Life in the Camp:

Nancy spends some of her time in her room, but sometimes will go to visit the warden's daughter Stella. She likes to hang out in the guard's lounge and has a secret crush on David Chandler even though he is twice her age. When her father lets her, she accompanies him on his patrols to collect plants and bugs to study.

Personality:

Nancy is a curious girl who is always looking for new things to study and learn. She especially loves botany and entomology. She can be sweet but if you bring up a touchy subject or get on her bad side, she can say some very bitter words. She loves being around people unless she is going through a stressful or difficult time in her life. When it comes to men, Nancy loves talking with other girls about how attractive or unattractive this guy or that guy is. She loves humans and puts her allegiance with them, not understanding why the non-humans hate them so much.

Nancy has the wings and scent of a faerie, making her more susceptible to attack from carnivorous non-humans, but she does not have any of the magical abilities that full-blood faeries have. She is physically weak and becomes untactful when under stress.

Possessions:

As the daughter of a guard, she has access to all the necessities of life. Her father gives her an allowance and she tends to save up for anything extra and expensive she wants. For things she bought with her own money, she own her own laptop, a shelf full of books, a few DVDs and CDs, and her journals which are filled with research notes on plants and incects.

Other:

Nancy takes classes online as to not neglect her education. When she graduates she wants to study to be an ecologist, focusing on entomology and botany.
