Lifespan: Anywhere between 50 years up to 10 000 years, however they can die before that, but it's relatively difficult because of there beast forms and their high healing rate. at 100 years they look 6, at 200 years they look 12, at 300 years they look 17.
Creation: Born between two of the same breed of animal youkai.
Diet: human food sometimes depending on how they are feeling, mostly any raw meat they come across
Abilities:

- Can take an animal form depending on what type of animal demon their parents are.
- Can hide their demon attributes- usually just changes their eye colour and hair, as well as hiding their markings
- Can create poisons.
- Has a demonic aura that can flare out around them to show how much power they have or just how they are feeling. i.e dont come here, or else i'll hurt you.
- super speed
- super healing
- inhuman strength and strong senses.

Weaknesses:

- when seriously injured there is a period of 12 hours where they are rendered useless and can be killed simply by stabbing or shooting them.
- Magic weakens them
- They have a mating season where they loose themselves to their beasts completely, a dangerous time for human and supernatural alike
- possessive like no ones business so they will get into fights if their honor is threatened
- when in a life and death situation they govern more with their primal/animal side then there human side so they suffer through strong blood lusts that wont be sated until there's beasts have had enough. Sometimes an entire village is lost during one of their rampages.
- If they don t rest in between fights that give them bad injuries, their healing abilities drop and they weaken enough that a normal a bird could kill them.

- They can be purified, which would turn them human and then they could be killed easily

Strengths:

The clan their from gives them extra abilities of family heirlooms, whether they are normal demons or a rare species of demon that are usually considered royal blood.

They are more powerful when they let there beast forms out, or just the beast forms instincts

Looks:

Demon marking, they usually have a mark some where that says what clan of demon they come from. And then other markings showing how much demon power they have.

Have no faults but they can scar, usually stay lithe and tall frame, no matter how much they eat.

Animal forms can be as big as a hill, or as small as an animal in the wild.

Traits:

Their personalities depend more on their up bringing, they could hate humans and supernaturals alike entirely or they can like them just enough that they try to protect them, but most demons are very proud race and will react harshly when someone attacks their honor.

Will defend what is theirs, but they are very logical species, governing less with their emotions and more with their minds.

Manifestation:

The manifest by the time they are 25 years old, but only gain the animal forms at 150.

Culture:

Again depending on breed of demon, they are either pack animals or not

History:

An old species that have been around for ages, no one knows how long, but they appear in history a lot.

They usually don't show them selves now a days, since its 'too dangerous' for them, but they blend very well and usually are the richest people around because of how long they live.
