It was because of that that he got a taste for politics. He started off small, becoming the president of town committees and city halls, eventually working up his way to governor and eventually senator of Washington. It was during one of his campaign parties that he met the woman who headed his campaign in one of the more rural areas, and Aaron was stunned that such a beautiful and charming woman would spend her time working to make sure he got elected. He invited the woman, whose name he learned was Eve, to come with him on the rest of his campaign, and he fell quickly in love with her easy graces and calming effect. A few moments after he won his election, he proposed to her.
Having his children was one of the proudest moments of his life, though he never had the time for them he wished he had since he had to work so much. He tried to make up for it by buying them whatever they wanted and encouraging Eve to be a stay-at-home mom to always be there for him. But things changed when the war started. Aaron began practically living at the office as he worked tirelessly to end the war. He gained popularity as one of the strongest voices against supernaturals, claiming they were a threat to normal American families like his own.
But tragedy struck his normal American family when Eve was diagnosed with cancer. She was not given very good odds and she begged Aaron to not tell their children, so they wouldn't have to deal with the stress and worry of her being sick. But eventually she passed away and he was heartbroken. He knew he should've tried to be there for his children, but they reminded him too much of her, so he buried his grief in his work, and doubled his efforts against supernaturals in an effort to distract himself.
Which was why he took the job as warden gladly. He takes his work seriously and never takes a break, because in his mind, there is a connection between the supernatural war and Eve's death, so he will stop at nothing to keep them away from the rest of the world. Life in the Camp: Aaron is the head of all management at the camp. He is the one who organizes guard shifts and supplies trucks and decides strategies for dealing with the supernaturals in the camp, including meeting with select gang members. He also is the one who talks to the press and pushes the lobbying of policy that is beneficial towards the camp. Then there's also making sure his children stay out of trouble and enforcing a strict no-going-into-the-camp rule for his children...but he is quite busy.Personality: Aaron is not the easiest person to get along with. He's serious, strict, and a bit self-involved. He's not one for joking around, and the only person whom he puts up with it from is his daughter. He's not the type of person to dilly-dally or smell the roses, or get distracted, he becomes focused in his work.
