Abilities:
The Shizen Hogo have an affinity for certain aspects of nature, however they differ from elementals in several aspects. Each Hogo-sha has a very specific ability relating to a very specific thing. For instance, rather than controlling all plants one might control flowers or grass. Rather than controlling all water one might control ice or mist. They do not control animals or sentient life of any form. Relating to their affinity, each Shizen Hogo has at least one ability beyond simple manipulation and an even greater power that comes out only in times of extreme stress or anger. Examples of such would be the summoning of their affinity, the use of it in illusionary techniques, or in combat-related uses. The anger-induced power varies from type to type but is always very destructive and difficult to control, often harming both those around and the Hogo-sha himself.Weaknesses:

Shizen Hogo tend to look human oriental with light colored eyes. Their hair is always a vivid color relating to their affinity. The color of their hair will change according to their emotion. Darker when angered or frightened, lighter when happy, less vibrant when sad. When extremely ill or wounded their hair will begin to turn towards brown. They physically mature faster than most races and reach full maturity around age sixteen.Traits:

Parents normally will teach their children to have respect for all life and protect all life. To be recognized as an adult, a Shizen Hogo must preform a set of tasks set out by older members of their kind to prove they are ready for adulthood. The tasks test one's values, resourcefulness, control of powers, and knowledge of the world. The youngest age one may begin the tests is twelve but most do not become adults until age thirteen or fourteen.History:
The Shizen Hogo have always lived in the wilderness of the world, never stepping too close to be seen. They were often mistaken for spirits and thus named the "Shizen Hogo" meanings "Nature Guardians." However, after thousands of years of being respected and practically worshiped, people began seeing the hunting of them to be a challenge, a test of strength. As people thought they were spirits some humans feared their wrath upon those who hunted them while others saw it as foolish man chasing fairy tales. Never the less, slowly their numbers grew thin. When the war broke out and the camps were started up, hunters began capturing them and handing them over the government, but some still wonder whether or not it would have been better if they had just died.Other:
