---------The other vampire's comeback was impressive, Jeremy had to give him that. He was smart and strong, the kind of man he would respect if it were not for the obvious problem of the Irishman's relationship, however small, with Ava. Jeremy was a possessive person. He never tried to deny it. And Ava was his. He decided this long ago, back when she had to problems with the matter. Back when she wanted to spend eternity with him. Ava had become a rose. She was more beautiful, more fragrant, more desirable than any other flower in the garden, but her thorns pierced the skin, drawing blood and inflicting pain upon those who held her to close. Never the less, Jeremy endured the pain. He held on to her, unwilling to let go and unwilling to let anyone else take her away. ---------Ava gave him that irritated look, a look of which Jeremy was becoming more and more fond. Something about that 'I'd kill you if I had the chance, you bastard,' in her eyes and posture made him want her all the more. As they came into her office he wasted no time in casually walking over to rest against the desk at which she sat. He eyed the other man who seemed to still be excessively defensive of his woman. "So, what is this Lochlainn to you, Ava?" he asked, smirking. "You're bodyguard?" He leaned in to murmur in her ear so that only she might hear. "Though with a body like yours I can understand the need." He knew it would make her angry, he knew he was playing with fire, but even so he continued to taunt her with his words and actions, throwing her into what he could see was a mix of old love and hatred welling up to the surface.

Keir followed her into the room and set him self before her but watching Jeremy as he entered uninvited. He tensed and he knew they could probably hear his teeth clenching together at Jeremy's unrelated comment. He held back a snarl but he smelled his blood in the air around him, from his own nails digging into the flesh of his hands. His eyes more red now then there natural color.
His body looked ready to move, but also as still as stone as he watched the other male with narrowed, and almost glowing eyes. "Ava, don't we have private matters to discus about that little problem we have been having." Keir turned his eyes on her, giving Ava a way out if she wanted to take it. His Irish accent was so thick now, that it came out as an angry husk.

Ava's head whipped towards Jeremy with outrage glowing in her eyes, she whipped out the silver dagger that had been tucked in her belt and had to stop herself from jabbing it into his chest and instead, simply shoved him with her elbow and pushed herself off the table and turned to face him, pushing herself just an inch or two away from his face. She managed to keep her expression still rather calm, other than her lips tightening and her jaw muscles twitching slightly. Her eyes though, her eyes burned with all the anger and resentment towards him like a fire burning within her. She held the dagger tightly, her grip taking up the entire handle.
She glared at him and growled, "You really think you're funny, don't you? You may not have better things to do than come and mess around here but I do. In case you thought I was joking, or you didn't take any of the hints, I guess I'll just have to spell it out for you. You. Are not. Welcome here. I happen to have things to do that don't involve you." she narrowed her eyes slightly, the leaned into whisper into his own ear, "And my relationships are none of your business. Banks." she said, her voice colder than ice.

---------She snapped. Jeremy saw it coming. She finally broke under the pressure and gave way to the unchecked anger that was welling up inside. He was prepared to stop her, ready to grab the knife and turned it all around but she stopped short, gaining control at the last second. Her eyes burned with hatred and, damn, why was it so attractive? The vampiric woman was merely inches from his face but he refrained from closing that space, letting her stab him with her words as he remained emotionless. ---------The use of his last name was meant as a final blow, but he was not the kind of man to be dissuaded by such a thing. Whispering back in the same tone she had just used towards him he said softly in her ear, "But they are. Lynch." He then pulled away, stepping back to grant her more space. More distance seemed a wise decision, especially with their current company.

ooc: I really don't know what to say in this situation. Keir moved then, smoothly sliding between them both, trying not to be over bearing on Ava but trying to create the space between her and Banks so that she could have some space to gather her self and to get a break from Jeremy. He never said a word though, just stared with unblinking red eyes at Banks.
His chest rose on a breath, and he was all stone muscle who would only be moved by Ava. He was protecting his leader from a threat and that was what he was going to do, he would welcome his second death if it came to it, but he would at least wound the male if he did.
He and Jeremy were almost the same height, but even if Keir was shorter it didn't mean that Keir didn't look at him as if he was nothing more than a nuisance.

Ava was panting from fury that ripped through her muscles. She was at her limit, her fists clenched so tight drops of blood formed under her fingernails. Her teeth were clenched together, and her eyes burned with a flame that quite literally sparked red in her eyes. She watched him move away from her and she was about to follow him, if she didn't want to be near her-well that just made her want to be close to him. Anything to get back at him. Anything to irritate him as he irritated her.
She wanted him to get angry, to bend him in the way he bent her. To make him feel the pain he had made her feel. This rage, this burning yearning drove her crazy. Like a rabid animal she wanted to simply push Keir aside and slash at him. Try and transmute the pure emotional pain he had inflicted on her into the only pain she knew she could give him. Physical pain. The deep pain that was wrapped in her innermost canals underneath her skin. As he continued to get under it, most pain, more torture that had been so horrible she had locked it where she hoped no one would ever locate it started to burn as it resurfaced. It made her furious how he could control her, and the fire of her fury mixed with the acid of her pain started to explore within her. It made her nails itch to claw at his face and her fangs threaten to expose themselves and sink into his flesh. There wasn't anything she wanted more than to do all these things.
She didn't do any of those things. Instead, she let her fists relax, the cuts immediately healing as the nails removed themselves from her skin. She let the heat fade from her and she pushed the raw anger down her throat. Though it's lemon-lime bitter taste threatened to choke her to oblivion, she managed to swallow it and calm herself down.
She placed her hand gently on Keir's shoulder, not in a romantic way at all, but more of a quiet 'It's okay, I can handle this.' way. She stepped away from Keir's protective shield, no longer a girl content to hide behind another's power. She needed to stand her own ground, even if it meant getting pummelled to a fine, vampiric pulp. She raised her chin, her face strong now with hard eyes, her emotions behind the wall she was holding up around her, "Jeremy, Can we speak later? Alone? Right now I have silly-silly work to attend to called running a prominate gang. Quite boring really. Once I got all that covered we can have a nice, long chat. Alone.".
She ignored his actions now, focusing on trying to ignore him altogether. She moved to her desk with the map of the entire camp etched into it. Great, now she had to think of something meaningful to say to the loyal gang member. She quickly pulled out her daily duty, assigning groups to hunt in certain areas. Usually she did this with a more... experienced member like Derike but bringing another male into this situation would be just plain stupid. Keir would have to do. She motioned him over to the desk and traced her fingers along each unoccupied section of the camp. "Now... Lochlainn." the use of his last name was beginning to grow on her, "I need to send out eight groups of about five each, alternating between themselves so everyone can get a fair hunt tonight. Two in each of the northern and southern sections of the road, the forest and the cabins as well as one towards the bathroom and mess hall." her fingers traced along the areas of which she spoke, trying to sense what Jeremy was doing without looking at him whatsoever.

---------Jeremy smirked as she used an almost dead-pan sarcastic words. There were some parts of her that had changed, yet the old Ava was still noticeably there. When she placed her hand on the other man's shoulder, he did not tense or even show any sign of reaction, but inwardly he was taking notes on the man's reactions to her touch. He could see Ava's interest was no more than that of a friend and leader, but Lochlainn was harder to read, perhaps because he did not have years of time to learn his mannerisms as he did Ava. ---------She stressed the 'alone' part probably in hopes of getting him off her back for the time being. It was followed by an very clear case of being ignored. Jeremy chose to wait rather than draw her attention to him at the time. He moved back to the wall and leaned back, crossing his arms and merely watching, listening, observing.

Keir never said a word, only putting his back to Jeremy and looking at the map of what Ava wanted him to do. Besides he could always go get Derike later. He nodded his chin, his eyes looking at the map and watching her hands move across the paper to bring to notion her instructions.
Keir glanced to the empty pillow on the floor under a dark table and then back to Ava, "It is done." He paused for a minute and nodded with his chin to the pillow covered in white fur, "If I see Candra, should I tell her to come home." Everyone had thought that the large white dog was a companion and a protector for Ava, so they usually said their words like they were talking to a dog when asking about the white female.
He made a list in his head of what she spoke before he stood up straight and waited for her answer and her direction of when he was 'free' to leave.

Ava gritted her teeth in frustration when he didn't leave, he was persistent. Very persistent. She hadn't expected much less from him, had she? She nodded, unable to think of anything else to say, she nodded towards Keir, "I'm going to head out by myself tonight. I really need to kill something and... I have my own things to deal with, don't need anyone holding me down." she paused for a moment about Candra, she didn't want to keep her too close, but she knew her company would be more than welcome around here. She nodded, "Yeah, if you see her tell her I'd like to speak with her. I'll see you later... Lochlainn." she gave a slight smile again at the use of his last name. It never ceased to amuse her, though it was growing on her. She motioned towards the door, letting Keir leave for now.
She realized she still had her knife in her hands, so she put it back in her belt and let her hand brush over her gun to double check it was there. She glanced to check that Keir was gone and then looked back down to the rip in her white shirt, which was stained with blood, though the wound had healed long ago. She didn't have time to change it, at least, she doubted that Jeremy would leave if she was taking off her shirt, so she'd have to leave it on for now. She decided to simply locate a jacket, so she walked around her desk, not even looking at Jeremy, and grabbed one that was hanging off a hook across the room. It was thin, and black. Just enough to throw over her white shirt. She folded it over her arm and stopped. "I'm leaving alone, and you're not invited." she said firmly, not looking at him. God, she didn't know why, but looking at him was getting harder. Especially without the support of Keir in the room, it was like gripping silver to look at him. She knew she once again needed to be rid of his company, to repair the damage to the hard shell she had around her that Jeremy continued to damage. Not only that, but she felt herself itching to feed. Honestly, she was starving.

---------Jeremy raised an eyebrow at the mentioned of Candra. By Lochlainn's glance towards the white furs and the scent of dog, he figured it was a pet of some kind, but by the way they spoke of her, he concluded she was more likely a shapeshifter of some kind, though even then the scent was a bit... off. Definitely not a werewolf. He mused over this for a moment until his attention was caught by the other male leaving, much to his satisfaction. ---------When the door closed and the footsteps of the other vampire faded, even the lingering scent of Lochlainn did not dim the overwhelming smell of Ava which seemed to fill the air. With his hands behind his back, Jeremy was literally cutting his hands with his fingernails, letting the pain keep him in control of his actions. He would not attack her unless he attacked him. He would kiss her, but nothing more unless it was her desire. He would not let any other man have her, no matter what it takes. These were his personal rules when he came to Ava. They had been there four years prior and were just as active in his mind today as they were then. ---------He noticed the rip in her shirt when he first came, but she had obviously become more conscious of it by the fact that she considered it for a moment before putting on a jacket to cover it up. A part of him was a bit disappointed that now there was less of Ava to see. Never the less she was still a fearsomely gorgeous thing to behold, beautiful and sexy enough to make even the most chaste of men lustful. ---------He was not invited. It was hardly new news. She made it quite clear he was not invited anywhere in her proximity ever, though something told him that those previous 'not inviteds' were more of a 'I hate you, get away', while this 'not invited' was more of a 'stay away or I'll kill you and if I can't kill you my whole gang will hunt you down and pick you to pieces until you resemble a stir-fry.' Taking the hint he merely smiled. "You're hungry," he said. "I can tell by your eyes." Sighing in an overly exaggerated fashion he slouched back against the way, the very image of disappointment. "I guess I'll just stay here then while you go hunt, kill, and drain some innocent soul. Or perhaps less than innocent considering these inmates. Ah but don't worry about me, darling. I'll be here when you get home." He flashed a winning grin at her, his posture returning in a heartbeat.

Keir did not like leaving Ava, with someone who never took the hint that she didn't like him. But he nodded sharply and left the room and Jeremy and Ava together. He didn't close the door behind him, just so that Jeremy took the hint that, the entire school would hear them and wouldn't have to break down a door to protect Ava from him but he doubted that the warning was needed. Ava had shown that warning herself.
Rolling his shoulders, Keir went out to find Derike, to pass along the information Ava gave him, for now he had a task, he wasn't going out just to hunt but to find Candra and tell the dog that she was to watch Ava a little closer. Not that he thought the dog would understand....but the dog looked like it did, always staring at them when they were talking, looking as if it nodded to what Ava said. Pulling his jacket with him, he set out into the night air after letting Derike know what was going on....

Ava sighed, her gaze wandering to Jeremy as he spoke. He was very much the same when she had known him as her lover, it was Ava whom had changed obviously. It was strange to experience the vivid memories he gave her, and the fragments of what was left of that time in her life she didn't even realize she still contained. The strangest feeling of all she felt, out of everything, was how much she longed to simply give into his arms. Much like the yearning of a vampire to simply kill every mortal in the room, it was a wish she couldn't quite explain why she had it, it was just there... His smile, his handsome and ridiculously sexy smile made the calling to him screech like a fangirl meeting her celebrity crush. She felt tingles course through her until she abruptly began to walk briskly towards the door.
She stopped at the doorway, her lip quivering slightly, "And Jeremy..." she paused, forgetting what she wanted to say. So she put on her jacket, turning to him with a flash of red eyes, and said in a low voice "I'm not your darling.". Without another word, she walked down the hall towards the door. As she left his presence she felt herself regaining her breath and feeling much more like her new self as ever.

---------"Yes you are, darling!" He called after her as she left. He smiled for a moment longer as her footsteps faded and then his expression turned more sour. He finally stopping digging into his own flesh and brought his hands in front of him, looking down at them as the wounds quickly healed, leaving no mark but his own blood which now stained them. "Damn it, Ava," he muttered. He slammed his fist against the wall before kicking it and then pacing away. He continued to pace back and forth, running his hand through his blonde hair, before finally slouching down in the corner with his back against the wall. ---------It would take time, yes, much time. She was cold and bitter, hardened against him and filled with hatred. He needed to break down her walls and fight past her defenses to reach the Ava who would willingly be his once again.
