Jess has never been too picky about what she wears. She'll take what fits her, though will avoid dresses and skirts-as they are easily torn and aren't easy to climb in.Appearance:
Small and delicate, Jess looks like a typical Plux. Her hair is long and blonde and she has pretty blue eyes. She is short and rarely does she meet someone else taller than her.History:
Born to a young woman named Penelope, Jess never really had much of a chance at a good life. Penelope was the youngest daughter of a wealthy minister named Timothy, and when she became pregnant at the age of 17-her father shunned her from the family. Sick and carrying a baby she had never conceived (as she was a virgin), she took refuge in an orphanage. She worked with them until she had her baby was born nearly a month early. After 14 hours of painful labour, Penelope Blake died at the Jessica Orion Orphanage. Why they were convicted:
Since she had no known father, and her family wanted absolutely nothing to do with the child-she was named after the orphanage she was born at. Jessica Orion Blake.
The orphanage was small, but it was home to Jessica. She grew up under the care of Andrea Tallie, a caregiver whom had become good friends with her mother. Andrea took special care of Jess, making sure she had the best of everything she could give her-including dance and music lessons. Despite this, Jess loved gymnastics. She became very good, which she later found out was due to her species.
When Jess was ten, her lack of weight and growth and food consumption disturbed her caregivers, and she was admitted into the hospital with a supposed eating disorder. Jess was very upset, but the doctors continued to let her take her classes for gymnastics and dance.
After a few years, the doctors gave up. She didn't seem to be sick-just not hungry. They let her go back to the orphanage as long as she came in for tests whenever they called for her. Jess was excited and came back, to find that Andrea had died. No one wanted to tell her in the hospital to spare her feelings.
Sad and lonely, she ran away from the orphanage with nothing but some clothing a silver locket and cross pendant that her mother had left for her. She then used her gymnastics to learn to steal. It wasn't long until she realized that she didn't just not have to eat little-but she didn't have to eat at all. She then became quite accustomed to living life on the streets.
After about a year and Jess was about fifteen years of age, she came across a little girl named Penny, only seven years old, whom had been kicked out of her home by her abusive father. Out of her plux compassion, she cared for her. That was when Jess started taking in young children who couldn't fend for themselves. She used her skilled thieving abilities to get them food and clothes and shelter. They soon inhabited the attic of an abandoned home. Soon Jess had four or five homeless children under her shelter.
When Jess had just turned 17 (she had long before realized she'd never age again) she was breaking into a large to get some money to buy a birthday present for Penny, who was turning nine soon. But, as soon as she was cracking the safe, Timothy Blake caught her. When he asked for her name and she replied Jessica Blake, he didn't believe her. He had never forgiven himself for casting out his daughter, Penelope after her having the daughter. His wife had left him soon after and had been scorned from his presence in the church. All he had left was his empty house and memories. He wanted to take Jess in, but she was terrified of him. She ran away, but the alarm she had triggered trying to open the safe went off-and she was arrested by the police for breaking and entering. Though Timothy didn't want to press charges, they knew now that Jess was a supernatural and had disobeyed the law constantly. She was sent to Sangvene soon afterwards.
Was caught breaking and entering on her grandfather's estate.Years in the Camp: 1 year
Life in the Camp:
Jess at first took her thieving skills to help her. She stole supplies from other inmates, though she felt pretty bad about it. When she was in the outside world, she stole from wealthy people-and she only took what she needed and nothing more. Now she had to steal from fellow supernaturals who needed all the supplies to live.Personality:
So instead of taking to her typical loner ways, she joined the rebellion. She acts as a healer and gives advice if she can. She's not the best fighter, but if she needs to she will go out and steal from other gangs. She stays away from the Night Walkers though, as she knows if she ever even approached the building she'd be dead-if she was lucky.
Jess isn't quite as typical as her fellow pluxes. She isn't a weak little girl-but she's no fighter either. She is rather sneaky and can easily get into places not many other people can get into. She is very good at lockpicking and can get into almost any safe if she has the concentration.Likes:
She prefers to be alone if she can, but she's not anti-social. She won't go up and start a conversation with someone if she can help it, but will talk to anyone that starts a conversation with her.
She love dancing, and can be found dancing almost anywhere if she is alone. She doesn't like dancing in front of strangers and has terrible stage fright. She is a beautiful dancer if you actually get to see her.
Like all pluxes, Jess has a strong loyalty to anyone she calls her friend. She is rather protective of them, and will take any pain from them if she can heal them. She holds their welfare above hers and would give her life for them.
Jess is also very compassionate and understanding. She will feel sympathy and pity for others, even if they are supposed to be her enemies. Once or twice she has even helped other Loner inmates by healing them or giving them food.
Jess doesn't quite know what she wants in life yet. She knows she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life in this Camp, which is why she is in the Rebellion.

1-Jess has never been able to open her locket, she can hear something in it-but doesn't know what is is. She doesn't want to break it-so she just wears it and hopes one day she will be able to figure out how to open it. It appears as if there is some sort of keyhole-but she has no key.Possessions:
2-She has been attacked by a vampire once when she was back in Detroit, but was saved by some police and she fled the scene without being questioned
3-Is working out how to get into the old cells, and thinks she can find a way in if she can acquire the proper tools.
Just a locket made of pure silver with a cross pendant hanging with it. She uses it to ward off vampires and werewolves if she can, though it is the only protection she has against them.Other:
