Welcome to Birchwood Isle
We are a small-town style troubled teens role playing group. We accept characters of all ages (our youngest character is 2 and our oldest character is 86) and welcome you to join us! We're always looking for skilled writers who are interested in writing characters and plots of varying types, but we're especially interested in troubled teenagers and the adults who take care of them.
Birchwood Isle has a dedicated staff of therapists and social workers who are prepared to deal with all of the common issues that teenagers who have had difficult lives face. We deal with drug addiction, teen pregnancy, eating disorders, self harm, mental and physical disorders, and most of all, with abuse of all sorts (physical, sexual, emotional and psychological as well as neglect).
Our teams of trained adults are ready to do whatever it takes to help you learn to live a more normal life and to come to terms with your past while giving you an opportunity for your future. Whether you choose to make your home at St. Jude's boarding school or if you elect to stay at one of our group homes to await adoption by a loving family who is eager to meet you, you will find that you are accepted here for the person you are, and you will never be fully rejected.
