He picked up the bag, realizing there was still a fair amount of stuff left in it. He nodded to her, "Thank you." Again, his answer was clear, concise, and he employed a sharpened tone.

Daphne sat by Quip, swinging back and forth in her chair. There was an awkward amount of time when the two strangers simply stared at eachother, unsure of quite what to do next. Daphne did not particularly want to strike up a convesation but the uncomfortable atmosphere was starting to bother her. "You need food?" she asked. She turned over to the computer and began working at the camp database to get his files.

He blinked and nodded towards the bag, "Well... I've got it now."

Daphne nodded and gave a slight "Un," in acknowledgement. The silence returned. Daphne welcomed silence. She loved the peace it brought but it was uncomfortable when there was another person there who was staring at her as well. Turning her eyes back to the computer she smiled. She was in. Lighing brushing her delicate fingers against the screen she closed her eyes. The information whirrled by at incredible speed, flashing images of documents and files until finally it stopped on the one of the stranger. She opened her eyes. "Antony La'Monze. Sixteen years old. Shapeshifter. Son of-" she stopped her methodical reading, eyes wide.

He hopped from one foot to the other. He hadn't really planned on anybody finding that out. He didn't know what kind of weight the Supernatural Rebellion had here.

Daphne did not have to do any amount of research to know who the name belonged to. Arthur La'Monze's name was known by every supernatural who ever lived in a warzone or had access to any form of media and was known by a large majority of the human populace. Never the less she moved on past it and continued. "Hometown Marseille, France. Danger level-" she stopped short again. His danger level was high, higher than most others admitted to Sangvene. A great deal of it was likely due to his father's reputation, but it could not be everything. Daphne suddenly became uneasy, realising she was in a confined area with a man who could easily kill her if he wanted to.

He was pacing, taking deep breaths, trying to think about what to do. Tony needed more information before he could really make a clear decision, but he knew he didn't want to hurt anyone over this. He knew the humans considered him dangerous, mostly for his training in strategy and his skills in combat... but also because of the partially fabricated reason he was in here.
Tony felt his body becoming tense with anger as he thought about the shooting. He took another deep breath, trying to keep his head from becoming clouded and the anger from seeping into his expression and posture. That wouldn't help him here.
He noticed Daphne was just as tense as he was, and he stopped pacing. "Am I scaring you? Sorry," he said quietly, shoving one hand in his pocket and rubbing at the top of his knitted beanie with the other.

"No," she said honestly. He was not scaring her so much as intimidating her. There was a difference. She turned her eyes away from the screen and looked him over. He was tall, dark haired, French, and what she imagined other girls would call handsome. He reminded her a bit of a fox so it made sense that it was what he shifted into. Silence was normally welcome, it was normally comfortable. This was not a comfortable silence. It was almost as bad as having someone look over her shoulder as she worked. "Leave or stay," she said, moving straight to the point. "If you stay you can live upstairs," she continued. "But if you leave and rat me out to those monsters I'll-" she stopped. She didn't know what she would do. She was weak. She would probobly die. The only way she had survived thus far was by running and hiding.

He suddenly found himself liking her. Mostly by the fact that she wasn't scared. She wasn't the girl he'd expected her to be. She was stronger and could hold her own, and most of all- she was actually quite interesting, in her own quiet way. Tony liked that.
He also liked how straight to the point she was being. "I'll stay upstairs, if that's alright with you," he replied,"No point in finding somewhere else since you're letting me and I'm going to give you some measure of trust." He bristled a little at her warning, "I don't like snitches and I never intend to be one." He'd had his own bad experiences with them... but... he didn't want to let his mind go there right now. He needed a clear, level head, not one clouded by memories that were no longer relevant.

His decision was quick and sounded, for the most part honest. Daphne never cared much for people but cared even less for people who lied. Computers were better. They were always honest and predictable. However, she felt somewhat inclined to trust this Antony La'Monze. Something about the way he did not ramble on with complimentary or flirtatious words, the way he trusted her, made her want to return that trust at least in partial. In response to his words she merely nodded. "Yeah," she said and then turned back to her computer screen, the familiar world that was Quip.

He nodded, taking the bag and quietly wandering up the worn steps to the next floor. He glanced around the place, trying to see how he would make use of it. Finally, he settled for moving around some of the lighter, unfixed bookshelves to make a sort of partition in one corner, facing the books inward so he could read them in his "room" if he liked. He set his stuff down and then poked his head out to the rest of the hall again. If he could find the stuff, he could hang a punching bag from the ceiling there, store food over in the left corner, and- oh, he could use that chest to put his things in. One of the reading-benches would be nicer than sleeping on the wooden floor, too.
He did a bit more of rearranging so he had a bench for a bed in his room, and scooted the chest in as well and opened it up. It didn't lock, he'd have to fix that somehow. But for now, he placed his things inside the chest and worked on blocking the windows. The sun was setting, and he might as well get some sleep.

Daphne sat in the computer room, staring at the screen of her computer. Antony's profile was still up, those defiant eyes, fearful strength, and yet... something about him made her want to trust him. She had not felt safe since coming to the camp and nothing had change, but still she felt that for once someone was not trying to kill her. "What do you think, Quip?" she asked. The answer came to her mind, facts about Tony streaming in from a database. She smiled. Quip was logical. He thought like a computer. He was a computer. Sometimes Daphne wondered how much difference there really was between them. Sighing, she stood up and began sorting through her new belonging, plotting out uses for projects, and trying to figure out what to do about the man who had suddenly come into her content little life.
