Nancy is the daughter of a human guard at Sangvene. Both she and her father are new to the camp. His personality is really up to you as long as he isn't overly-loving towards his daughter. Father's affection is fine, I just don't want him to be showering her with gifts and being all "My daughter is SO FREAK'N ADORABLE!" He worked as cop before working at Sangvene.
As for his ex-wife, Poppy, she was a faerie. She was beautiful and he loved her dearly when they first were married but over the following years they grew more distant and began fighting. Poppy was unhappy with her marriage and eventually divorced, though her husband wanted to stay together and make things better between them again for Nancy's sake. In the end, Nancy went with her father. They moved away from Portsmouth, Virginia and to Sangvene where he got a job as a guard.
How he feels about Poppy now is up to you. The knowledge that Nancy is half-faerie is known only to him, Poppy, and Nancy herself.
I don't care who you chose for the play-by so long as he looks like he could be related to Nancy.
