---------Of all the places in Sangvene, an old school house was the last place Jeremy would have imagined himself being in his pursuit of Ava. It had been two days since the night of their reunion. Her scent and the image of her defiant face still lingered in his memory. After giving her a brief rest, knowing she would reject him outright if he came back to her immediately, it was not long before he found her home. The guards were easy enough to intimidate into letting him in. A show of the fangs, a dark glare, a commanding voice, it was all part of the act which left them trembling after telling him the way to where she was currently. ---------Her scent became stronger as he neared the gym, his footsteps soft but not silent. He turned the corner and approached the door, his eyes catching sight of Ava. Casually he came nearer and then stopped, leaning against the door frame and looking up at the high ceiling lights. "You're the leader here, huh?" He smirked and turned his head to look at her. "You never cease to surprise me, Ava. I could spend an immortal life time with you and I'm sure you would still have some secret or trick up your sleeve." ooc|| Sorry for the somewhat crappy post.

Keir didn't want to move from his spot in the door way, but he could easily receive a dagger in his back for not obeying his leaders commands, so he receded. He stopped when he stood beside her and yet his body was twisted in a way, that he could interfere if Ava ordered it.
His eyes remained between his normal color and red, staying mixed and not turning one color or the other. Keir's large frame was so tense he could be considered stone, he was snarling silently, it only causing a twitch in his jaw. But he held him self back, he thought back to Ava being unbalanced before and then back on the male before them, there intruder had caused their leader her little nightmare. And when he had finally gotten her mind back on track here he was again.
Keir bristled silently now at Ava's side but still giving her her own space.

Ava kept her cool, she didn't scream, or cry, or growl or even try and stab him a million times with her dagger. Instead, she gave her own smirk, and hid her own dagger behind her leg so he wouldn't see it. Or at least-hopefully he hadn't seen it already. She gave a tiny shrug before answering, "Well, when life gives you hell-you become satin." her tone was nonchalant, casual even-matching his own. She wasn't going to let him break down her wall today, she had spent two days plastering it back together and enforcing it with all her inner strength.
She glanced back to Keir, surprisingly grateful for his presence, not too possessive and protective, but respectful and cautious towards her enemies behaviour. He was, if she didn't know herself better, someone she could potentially a good friend. Someone she might be able to count on in this hell. Then again, Ava knew better. She couldn't trust anyone-ever. Especially not here. The only one she'd ever trusted with her life (aka, Jeremy) had betrayed her. If she couldn't trust on the man she had once hoped to spend eternity with-she doubted she could trust anyone.
She turned back to Jeremy with narrowed eyes and crossed her arms over her chest, her gaze questioning. "What are you doing here, Jeremy?" her voice was not in anyway welcoming to him, it was more of an accusing, yet cautious tone. Not entirely sure how she should approach the situation.

---------There it was again. Those cold eyes, that hateful stone expression. No love, no acceptance. She was outright rejecting him with her very being. Jeremy looked her over, noticing her disheveled clothes and messy hair. By their location and the traces of scent across the room, it was easy to assess the other vampires' reason for being there. He was pleased to know that she had not become lax with her combat training in the years of his absence. ---------Standing up straight, he walked closer to her and looked down at her, bringing his hand up to lightly touch her cheek. "Do you really need to ask, Ava?" he said. Self restraint was high on his list of priorities at the moment. He was refraining from kissing her again, mostly due to the other company but also partly an account of the fact he had only just arrived and she was still quite bitter towards him. The other man, standing beside Ava was aggressive towards him, somewhat feral even, and his scent betrayed him to be a vampire as well. Jeremy fought down the jealousy he felt at having Ava spend any amount of time with any man other than himself. The fact that the other vampire was acting to protective of her did not help his case. "Who's your friend?" Jeremy asked, glancing over at the man in question.

Keir was silent just waiting for Ava's call to jump into action, but it didn't mean he was open to the sudden extra hostility that Ava directed towards the new male to the camp. Keir looked him over, seizing him up, Keir though was no idiot, this one was older then him, and more powerful.
Keir frowned, but he was the one to answer, his Irish accent rolling thicker now. "Lochlainn, and you are?" He gave his last name only, and not his first. His shoulders rolled, and his hand was on the sheath at his waist still but he had yet to move. He moved slightly, just shifting on his feet but his stance didn't change, tense and ready.

Ava narrowed her gaze even further when he touched her cheek, though she really did have to push down the internal sigh that came in hand with his gentle touch. It was like putting her hand over a fire without wincing, or getting tickled without laughing. It was difficult, but was still accomplished with flying colours. After a few moments of his touch she found it harder to maintain her composure so she simply brushed his hand away with her own free hands;as if it were simply a fly, something that was simply mildly annoying and wished to get off of her before it became more annoying. "Oh, don't do something you might regret..." she said, not really planning on going through with her threat-but she would if she had to.
His response to Ava's question could have been easily guessed, but Ava had supposed to ask anyway, perhaps hoping he'd say he was looking for some other 'interesting' girl other than herself. Then again, would she be okay with that? Jeremy seeing another girl here? Ava wasn't sure. She wasn't sure how she would feel about it. She had tried to block all thoughts of Jeremy after she came here. The idea of having to watch him fall in love with another had never occurred to her. And frankly she didn't like the idea-but the answer why she didn't was either too absurd to Ava, or she simply wasn't ready to admit it to herself just yet.
"I don't know. You could have come perhaps for the scenery, it is quite pretty in here." she said, obviously being sarcastic as the Night Walkers had never been the tidiest gang, and if the hall didn't smell-it looked like it should have. And if it did, it looked like it should have smelled worse than it did.
She turned to Keir when he questioned whom he was and was about to answer that it was none of his business when he answered for her. Not that she minded, he was level-headed and gave a good, solid answer. She gave him a satisfied smile before introducing Jeremy to Keir, "This is Jeremy. An old-" she paused, smirking and looking to Jeremy, "-friend.".

---------Her sarcasm had a biting edge to it. It was different from the playful words of their past. Then again, nearly everything about her was more hostile than before. The young girl who laughed at his jokes, smiled when he told her she was beautiful, and fell into his arms when she cried was gone, but in the end she was still Ava. He could see the old her in the new and he would not let go, even if the world were in shambles and the cities burning he would not let her go. Had had made her his years ago and when something was his, he did not share and he did not relent his efforts to keep it close. ---------Jeremy sighed and shook his head. "Oh just say, lover, Ava dear," he lightly interjected upon being brushed off as a mere friend. Turning to the other vampire, he stood at his full height and looked down at him. He loved being taller than most people. "Call me Banks. As you were so kind as to tell only your last name I would prefer it if you referred to me by mine. Just so that we are on equal terms of friendliness, you see."

Keir looked between them, a brow twitched slightly. He turned his head to look down at Ava, before looking at the other male once more, his eyes swirling brown and red as his anger didn't calm down. He snorted and rolled his shoulders, shifting on his feet, and then he looked up.
Bristling at Ava's side, "Banks." Was the only thing he said as if in conformation but he only cared for his name so that he could interfere and know the name of the man causing Ava so much trouble. "Ava," he spoke, only wondering what she wanted him to do.

Ava rolled her eyes at Jeremy, "Ex-Lover." she corrected, putting an emphasis on the ex part, "Dear." she added her tone a mix of a sneer and a sting, topping it as a fake, sparkling smile.
She looked from each male back and fourth with an amused gaze, smirking faintly. Keir turned to her in questioning what to do and she gave a little shrug, letting the silence between the three drag on just a little further before she said, "Well, what a lovely introduction." she laughed. She thought vaguely of what they should do next. It wasn't like she could ask Jeremy to join their spar, as the two males already looked like they wanted nothing more than to actually rip themselves apart (and she was almost sure Jeremy would actually be able to accomplish just that if he had the chance), and frankly, Keir's presence was growing on her.
So, turning to Keir she gave a little curtsy, "Thank's for the spar, Lochlainn." her tone was amused when she addressed him by his last name. Ava had never been the type to be all formal by addressing her comrades by their last names, unless she didn't like them or they requested it. It was nearly always a way to tell if Ava disliked you if she called by something other than what you introduced yourself as. "But I think we'll have to cut it short." Her tone actually sounded a little apologetic with a hint of disappointment, she was actually rather disappointed that she had to leave the spar to go do things she'd rather not do in the first place. And of course, she in no way asked him to leave. She didn't want to be alone with Jeremy. Not right now anyway.
She turned to Jeremy now, the apology that had been directed a Keir completely leaving her vibe. Her eyes went cold and she spoke with a seriousness that rarely entered her voice, and her eyes narrowed in mistrust, "You need to leave. You're not welcome here.".

---------She was mocking him. Her sneering words, her sarcastic attitude, and that tone of voice which she meant to be irritating. He hated it. He loved it. Somehow her despicable traits were endearing and drew him closer to her just as much as the lovely ones. Having this other vampire in their presence, especially considering his protective attitude towards Ava, made Jeremy feel a feral instinct clawing at his mind and body, trying to take control as his rational self gave an equally persistent effort to keep it down. That part of him, the part that wanted to rip out the throat of his rivals and kiss his lover with bloody lips, was powerful, but it was a frightening power, a power which he feared would reduce him to nothing more than an animal who let blood-lust and passion rule his every action. So he fought against it. It was the curse of the vampire. It was the curse dealt to those who were trapped in a place between man and beast, between life and death. ---------Ava looked at him with stern eyes, commanding. Her demeanor surprised him at first. She had never given him such upfront orders before. Then again, she had never pushed him away from a kiss or rejected his claims on her before either save in jest. Though she looked quite threatening, enough to make most being tremble in fear, Jeremy merely crossed his arms and leaned back to rest against the wall. "Please, Ava, you and I both know that is out of the question. I came here for a purpose and I do not intend to leave until that purpose is fulfilled." Though his intentions were primarily to simply talk, he left his words at that to let her chose to interpret them as she wished.

Keir caught it even if it was small, so he did not move but he nodded to her in respect as she said they were finished for the day. His eyes had calmed down a little bit and now he stood a silent presence behind Ava. No longer regrading Jeremy with any interest but watching over Ava with small short glances.
He shifted on his feet, itching to place him self fully between her and Banks but he did not dare to completely interfere. "Ava, leader of the Night walkers, has told you to leave." Still his Irish accent was strong because of his emotions, usually the accent could not be heard but it seemed with his emotions it was proud and strong.

Ava rolled her eyes at Jeremy, shaking her head slightly. Not that she expected him to leave. Everyone else around here had only known her as Ava, vampiric leader of the Night Walkers. Jeremy, on the other fang, had known her as Ava, the timid human girl from New York. She wasn't at all surprised at his lack of fear of her, though she couldn't help but admit it was pretty darn annoying.
I guess you'll just never be able to leave then. Eh, my love? she thought. Ava was in no mood to simply give into his claims and give up everything she'd worked for the past four years. Actually, she was in no mood to deal with him at all. But, she figured she'd need to, wouldn't she. At least her head was clearer than their last meeting, and she found herself thanking Keir for helping her with that. She was though, faintly distressed that, even after all these years, she had still addressed Jeremy as 'her love', even if it was only in her thoughts. He wasn't that to her anymore... Was he? Course not, especially since
She glanced back to Keir at his comment, almost wanting to blush at his words. Ava hated almost nothing less than disrespect in all it's forms (when it was directed at herself), but the respect that Keir showed her was... different than most of the beings she had ever met. So instead, she gave a smirk and looked back to Jeremy. "Yeah, Jeremy. Like you said, I'm leader 'round here." she didn't dwell too much on the fact he wouldn't obey her. She didn't believe he was there to hurt her, or at least not physically. Trying to get him to actually listen to her would be like trying to get a penguin to fly. It looks pretty easy, I mean, penguins have wings and Jeremy, as a being, has the ability to actually do what Ava told him to. It's just... Neither of those things were likely to happen anytime soon.
Though she didn't want to contradict Keir in front of Jeremy, she didn't want to stand here in a yes-no battle between the two males. So she simply shook her head, turning to Keir "It's fine.. Lochlainn..." she was still getting used to using his last name rather than his first name, out of her own respect to him and his wishes to keep his first name to herself. She also liked knowing things Jeremy didn't. Whether he cared or not... it just didn't happen enough in her opinion. "Would you come with me to my room? There's something I'd like to talk to you about." she wasn't actually sure what she needed to talk about, but she was afraid if she didn't move soon her legs would be so tense from the absolute stress the entire situation was giving her that she wouldn't be able to move them at all. She was clearly directing the question at Keir, though she was pretty sure that Jeremy would follow her there anyway.

---------Jeremy caught the hidden implication that the request was meant for both himself and the Irishman. He eyes the other man carefully, profiling him. He was strong, well-built, and the air of hostility around him was practically suffocating. Did he have some sort of claim on Ava? Jeremy determined to find out exactly to what extent their relationship went and, if the results were against his liking, he would put an end to it. Rivalry was not something he enjoyed and competition, especially when the other contestant was actually close to, but not quite, being worthy of the prize, was something he had no use for. ---------Motioning towards the hallway with a broad gesture in agreement, he smiled. "A man would have to be mad to refuse such an invitation," he said, full aware of the innocence of her intentions. This Ava, this new Ava who seemed untouchable, was proving to be even more interesting and fun than the Ava of four years ago. It amazed him that even when she became a cold hearted murderer, she still was nothing like any other woman he had ever met.

Keir's hands clenched into fists at his side, so her put his hands behind his back like a soldier would. More red bled into his eyes but remained a mixture. "You would have to be mad to think the invitation was for you." Keir said with a cool tone in his Irish accent. He ignored Jeremy and looked to Ava, "After you, Ava." He said, and when she moved he followed, not leaving any room for Jeremy to move closer to Ava, making a living moving shield but at the same time giving Ava her space.
His anger was still present and directed toward Jeremy but he said nothing more to the male who was trespassing on their grounds. His muscles tensed waiting for the attack that he no doubt could feel coming, he was pressing on Banks nerves, but it was something he was starting to enjoy but only to a point.

Ava shot her eyes at Jeremy with a narrowed intensity when he seemed to think she was actually inviting him. Again, she didn't expect him to just hang around in the gym while she left, but she wasn't going to tell him that. Nor was she just going to give in and invite him around with her anymore, she wanted to make it clear that if he was around-it was not because she wanted him to be. That had to be made clear.
Her smirk only grew at Keir's words, she nodded and realized both men were asking her to take the lead. Great. She wasn't sure how she felt about all this, having these two very large, dangerous vampires tailing her. Half of her liked it, the other half was feeling a little claustrophobic between the two. Nevertheless, she walked down the hallway with her head held high back towards her own office. She didn't say anything as she walked with a quick pace and haste she reached the door and she opened it. She held it open for Keir, but went in after him rather than waiting for Jeremy. The first thing she did was walk to her desk and sit on the edge, crossing her legs and arms over her chest.
